This is unfortunately not true. I'm the one who originally posted a thread saying this, but I was mislead by the artist himself it would seem. A poster using the burner handle 'MarKl' had the following to say:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The roll bar design and the look of the air box behind his head [are not the same for the car that he died in]. They look much more like the Tyrrell 002 or 003 that Cevert drove in '71 and '72. The Tyrrell 006 he was driving at Watkins Glen in '73 looks quite different. Also, on Jesse Alexander's [the photographer] own site he lists this photo as taken at Watkins Glen in 1971.

Still a very awesome picture, though.
